About Daisy Acres
My personal flower story..
Being a flower girl in your formative years certainly leaves a lasting impression! But also so did my mother. My mom used her beautiful garden as a respite from her busy household and 12 noisy children! She would retreat every evening to her little flower patch in the garden and that is how I will always remember her.

Flowers have also brought me joy throughout my life as I raised my own family. I would use them as a little reward when I made an accomplishment or a pick me up when I was feeling down. When tidying up my patients room as a nurse they would always want their flowers placed close by their bed and then would tell me personal stories of the loved one that sent them. I credit flowers for giving me comfort and hope during my own cancer treatment. When things were rough, those bouquets magically showed up with a message reminding me I was loved.

I have recently returned to Saskatchewan after 30 years and I was reminded of its peace and beauty. We bought this little place by Watson which quite frankly, had me at hollyhocks. It was my mother who named Daisy Acres shortly before she passed away and we will carry this name proudly.
The flower farm is a work in progress, more of a passion project really, but we hope to sell our own cut flowers in the coming years. Thank you for the warm welcome Watson, we hope you enjoy our shop!
Know someone going through cancer treatment? I would love to send a free bouquet each month to someone fighting this horrible disease, just drop me a note. If they cant have fresh during chemo, we can do dried wildflowers or gift baskets.
